Another situation is, when day turn dark, maid will need to open all the façade lighting by progress (by 7pm open auto gate side lighting, by 8pm turn on all garden light), close curtain, turn on background music, switch off lighting the next morning, open curtain, water the garden by 12am, and so much more management task. If she forgot any area, the light stays on whole day. Waste of energy consumption and waste of manpower, waste of time to manage one by one.

They are many ways to control in a smart home Malaysia, or you can even forget about the control, let the fully automated smart home system take care for your home.
SMART HUMAN DETECTOR (SHD)
Unlike ordinary sensor, each of these smart human detectors is pre-programmed with own task to execute at different timing in a day. This SHD is a tool for smart home system to detect the present of human motion. Every single SHD carries it own task and role to take care of different area, SHD plays an very important role for a fully automated premise (when owner do not wants to control anything).
We will list down few examples of how SHD works in different areas (all customisable according to what owner want), how our in-house programmer program it to make it practical in daily life.
1ST EXAMPLE – SHD IN BATHROOM
In some case, for huge bathroom we will usually separate three motion signals and allocate three SHD to take care a bathroom with Jacuzzi, wash basin and toilet/bath area.
During 7am to 10pm when motion is detected in a bathroom front area (usually wash basin for owner to brush teeth, wash hand etc), the whole bathroom lights will trigger on. The SHD will understand that owner just need to clean up something in the wash basin area, thus, after 1 minutes motion not detected, light will off automatically (it is not common and nobody will stand still in front of wash basin 1 minutes without a single hand movement).
When second motion detected in the bath/toilet area, the SHD will notify our smart home Malaysia and our system will know that owner going to take bath or use toilet bowl, thus our system will command the bathroom lighting to be off after 5 minutes, if movement not detected. So that owner will not facing light goes off problem when he sit at toilet bowl without movement for 5 minutes (as per our experience, 5 minutes is practical enough as an awake human will not stay freeze for 5 minutes straight without a single body movement when using a toilet bowl). Once movement detected, the SHD will recount another 5 minutes before the system command the lights to goes off. So even owner stays in the toilet for 30 minutes, the system make sure lights will not goes off.
When third motion detected in the jacuzzi area, soft background music will be play.
During midnight 10pm to 6.55am, when motion detected in the wash basin area, system will not command whole bathroom lights on, but to open basin area lighting only, to make sure the light did not makes owner’s eye uncomfortable during midnight.
2ND EXAMPLE – SHD IN CORRIDOR
During 7am to 10pm, when someone walk by the corridor, light will all dim up, and after 15 seconds when no motion detected, light goes off.
During 10pm onwards, when motion detected, system will only trigger partial walkway light to on, as for this period of time, owner might just wish to go to kitchen to get some drinks etc.
Above two examples show how details we can program ours smart home Malaysia to automate your house using SHD. It is practical and helps to manage daily routine without a single miss. Owner can also use keypad or application to turn on certain area lighting manually. For commercial or office, SHD plays a very important role to save energy, to arm alarm and turn off shutter automatically when the last staff left the office.

This is the real SmartZone office 3D floor plan interface control that our office is using.
Control using 3D floor plan of your house, just swipe to the tab and press the icon you wish to control. The light bulb icon to control lighting in this case. The system will then show you the 3D floor plan of your house, simply tab on the little light bulb of the area to turn on or switch off.
Same goes to temperature, open and adjust the temperature before your reach your house. Turn on curtain at non-specific time to show passbyer as if someone is in the house when whole family is actually having vacation in Japan.
Things that we can integrate are wide, multi-room music, TV source management (switch source between TV and control the TV without remote as the remote is already pre-program to the apps as well.

Enable you to press on CCTV tab and have live control (the light, door access) function by viewing the condition of your house through the apps and press the light bulb on the interface to trigger light on. TWO TYPES OF SMART HOME IN MALAYSIA
There are two types of smart home Malaysia. Wifi switches and Wired system, SmartZone Smart Home Malaysia is using wired hardware.
Wifi switches is the most commonly seen in the market, allows user to DIY themselves, by replacing the traditional switches and pair the switches with the phone applications. The control and interface for wifi-switch is not changeable, and is fixed. Whereas SmartZone Smart Home System requires programmer to program the whole system to suits owner daily needs and the control is wide. The interface control is using 3D floor plan, this is what wifi switches cannot provides.
THE DOWNSIDE FOR WIFI SWITCHES

We share this based on our experience, as SmartZone sells wifi switches too. A honest comment below that you can trust.
1. There are still as many switches as traditional switches. Wifi switch only act as substitute to the switch on wall. You have 50 traditional switches, you will need exactly 50 wi-fi switches as replacement. The only thing is you can control via mobile now.
2. There will be no backup. Unlike wired smart home system Malaysia, in case of system failure, user can still reach to their traditional manual switches in the DB area, at least they will not need to go through a whole week without light before figure out what happens to the system.
3. Wired Smart Home System Malaysia is ultimately stable, using hardware from united states, Crestron. Due to it is wired system, the response is fast, no latency like wifi-switches. Wifi switches in the market requires many gateways to communicate, the more gateway, the more items need maintenance and the failure chances will be higher. Plus, each wifi switches have their very own IP address, the more wifi switches you have, the chance of getting IP conflicts is higher. This will leads to common problem for wifi switch apps, such as users cannot control from outside, no response from app button etc, which will need users to go back home, and pair the switches one by one again before they can control again using apps.
